Dear Everyone,
Back in September, I wrote a post in which I mentioned my next novel. I’m pleased to be able to give you more information now.
My next novel is the first in a new series, and it will be entitled The Raven. With this novel, I’m asking you to pack your bags and travel with me to the city of Florence. The Gabriel Series showed you the city during the day. This time, I’ll show you Florence’s underworld, which is ruled by creatures of the night …
Here’s the formal announcement:
And if you’d like to read a new excerpt from Gabriel’s Redemption and enter another contest, you can do so here at Romance Times.
Finally, I want to wish everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving this week a very happy holiday. I have much to be thankful for and in particular, I’m thankful for you, my readers.
Oh, dear SR!! I am beyond thrilled to read how you transition to a new genre (for you.) And excited. And gratified. And eager to read how you take us on a new journey with that fabulous imagination of yours, not to mention that God-given talent you have. Yep, this is great news. You just made my day. 🙂 Keep us posted on how long we have to wait!!!
XXOO,
Terry
Holds your hand as we jump in the air and scream. LOL
*Still jumping* 😀
New book of Sylvain is worth waiting for! can’t wait for it! XD
Thank you SR. This synopsis sounds amazing. I’m thrilled you’ve set it in Florence and the Uffizi – such real places to me now I’ve been there. I wish you all the success you deserve.
Sheila x
Oh dear God!! I’m jumping around in my seat now. This is fantastic news I can not wait, Oooooo, at long last something to look forward to in 2014!!!!
thx so much can`t wait for the Raven to follow you a paranormal way. I love Florence and the Uffizi and well to meet again the homeless one. It seems to be the same that we have meet before at Inferno and Redemption 😉
OMG, you have done it again, SR!!!! I am so excited with your new story that I’m finding it difficult to contain myself, and to think our favorite couple, Gabriel & Julianne will make an appearance is an added thrill. I love the name RAVEN. It’s mysterious and brings Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven” to mind. And to think this will be another series is beyond all expectations. You have an amazing gift. Thank you for sharing. xo
As to the link-character … Professor Pacciani who Julia met in the Uffizi springs to mind …
Sheila
Exactly what I was thinking as well.
I also think thats Professor Pacciani !!!
The blonde mystery guy in the museum in florence – who asked about the illustrations!! :))) I KNEW IT!!!! 🙂
I also think it is the mystery guy from the museum.
Yesssss is him….. i’m sure 😉
Sim, I also think… Certeza absoluta !!!
wow this new novels it´s so interesting, I can´t wait to read it.
This is so exciting SR! So excited to join you on this journey 🙂
I think it’s the blonde British man at the Ufizzi that Gabriel is wary of.
Am poised to pre-order x
So glad we won’t be seeing the last of Gabriel and Julianne!!
SR, Looking forward to Raven’s journey to clear her name. :o) I am also happy of the possibility that Gabriel and Julianne could be part of this book as well.
How intriguing! Wounded Lark…literal or?? Sounds like this novel will be filled with mystery and suspense. I am sure you will weave us a tale to match the history and romance of Florence. Paranormal Florence!
I am excited for your success and can’t wait to read this new novel. (As well at GR!)
Hi SR, I’m here as myself, now … I’m still tigger bouncing, which is very undignified, but books do that to me.
Sheila
So very excited to read your new series! I love your writing! I am looking forward to traveling through a world of romance and fantasy – I love it!!!
The homeless man…???…Julianne gave him money on their first trip to Florence and then Gabriel spoke with him when he went back to Florence when he and J were estranged…
I think the homeless man is the blond man museum 😉 …. Ansiosa pelo novo livro! Nós brasileiros amamos Sylvain !
Congratulations!
It is amazing to know that we can continue to read something from you. I’m more than excited and I look forward to reading this book. Hopefully I managed the same (or more) success of the series of Gabriel. I would love to read it in my language.
Personally as a fan reader, I will always be supporting him in his projects actively. I am proud to publicize their work in the account @SRFansMexico
As for the character, but I would not think it could be the Professor Pacciani
Best regards.
No me gusta passiani, ojala no sea el. Me parece una mala persona. Tiene q ser el chico misterioso q salio al final de la saga de Gabriel.
*runs around screaming* SO ExCiTeD!!!!!!!! Absolutely can’t wait for your paranormal Raven, SR! Thrilled! And I love that you are crossing over your series. I definitely have my ideas and can’t wait to hunt out the mysteries with you and fellow fans! I’m Thankful as always for your writing and for the wonderful Muses you have introduced me to SR!
hi SR
I personally am not a big fan of paranormal and to be honest with you I’ve never read one! yes I know 🙂 but I will read The Raven and it’ll be my first 😉 and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. after all you wrote it and it can not be disappointing,it just can’t.
looking forward to it
Best of luck
Gazal
This is wonderful! This new series sounds fantastic, SR! I’m sure I’ll love it as much as I love The Gabriel Series. I think I know who the character might be, but for now I’ll keep it to myself 😉 I’m very, very curious to see if I guessed right 😉 Needless to say, I can’t wait for this new series to come out! Congratulations on everything.
Elena
Wow, alright, I guess the character will be that not very nice gentleman who had an affair with Christa. Then, well, I like paranormal in films, though I haven’t read a book, but just by simply seeing Sylvain Reynard on the cover and the city of Florence and knowing that there is a cameo of Gabriel and Julianne!!!! I WILL read it, I do hope it implies some romance, too. Congratulations, please keep us posted on the releasing day.
Not a big fan of Paranormal Genre but you just might convert me !!! Looking forward to your new release !!!
I am so excited for Dec. 3rd to get here and I also am excited about the new book you are working on!!!
SR, this is so exciting. I am really glad you are an author. Much Hugs.
I just want to order the new series and read them as soon as it`s possible!
Sylvain, don`t leave us to wait for a long time, please!
I notice some linguistic mention to RavenNA.
One my special thanksgiving will be dedicate to you, Sylvain!
You often write about our “continued support” but to me it`s bilateral process which goes profond in our consciousness…
“Così la mente mia, tutta sospesa,
mirava fissa, immobile e attenta,
e sempre di mirar faceasi accesa.
A quella luce cotal si diventa,
che volgersi da lei per altro aspetto
è impossibil che mai si consenta;
però che ‘l ben, ch’è del volere obietto,
tutto s’accoglie in lei, e fuor di quella
è defettivo ciò ch’è lì perfetto.”

Oh my goodness. I thought my anticipation for Gabriel’s Redemption was high… I can’t wait to read your foray into the paranormal! Congratulations, SR!
Thank you for this message SR!I am too curious now!
What does Cassita vulneratus mean?
Cannot wait to read the excerpt in Gabriel’s Redemption.
I will read your new story for sure!Always loving and supporting you!
x K
hi! i finished reading the book in the wee hours of the morning… is the character the gray-eyed stranger that gabriel and julianne meet at the museum? (i also have this nagging suspicion that he’s actually the god mercury…but maybe it’s just me…hehehe) ^.^
Hi SR, after reading the synopsis for ‘The Raven’ I am very intrigued and excited to see the new RAVEN series as it unfolds. Congratulations once again on the new series and look forward to more of your successes 😀
Kahu xoxo
SR… I am so thrilled to see you’re spreading your creative wings and delving into new genres, while still staying true to your interests and beliefs.
To be honest, I’m not a paranormal fan, but, this synopsis completely won me over, and I cannot wait for this to be out!
And as for my guess on the connection to the Gabriel series.. (and it’s a wild one, I admit…) I’m guessing Dante (or his incarnation) is leading Florence’s underworld. I mean, after he was exiled and spent his last years outside his beloved city, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s attempting to make his true mark on it.
Again, Congratulations to you on this release and the upcoming ‘Gabriel’s Redemption’! All very well deserved!
I am so excited about the release of Gabriel’s Redemption and I am even more excited to hear about the relationship between that series and the new series. I love this and now can’t wait for The Raven. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading your stories! ~Brooke
I thought the homeless man as well, that seems too easy. I don’t think SR would make it that easy on us.. Professor Pacciani is a thought as noted above. Hmmm.. I still think that might be too easy. Nonetheless, can’t wait.
I re read this short anouncment again and hmm the robbery priceless Botticelli Illustrations. This can be an appearance of Gabriel in the new series, cause he lends his pricless Illustrations to the Uffizi as a gift for his beloved one Julia. One more day to go until we got Redemption.
Oh Professor Emerson – you have been missed can’t wait to have access to my audible late, late this evening. SR – thank you for continuing to write (and along my preference paranormal fantasy) I read Botticelli Illustrations and just figured that Professor Emerson more aggressive side may come out to find himself in your new series – after all SR, that is his second most precious possession and who can forget the Professor Pacciani – i don’t think he would pass up an opportunity to call out the Professor. Keep up the writing and thank you thank you. Hopefully one day you will come out of the shadows yourself (eh)
Nitangoja na moyo wangu wote, vitabu vyako vinaufasaha kamili na vya furahisha moya sana, hongera.
Gabriel´s Redemption en español por favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
Siii, please, I need it in Spanish!!!….Thank you!!!
Great news SR! Seeing forward reading your new genre! Cassita vulneratus… Can’t wait to se what your talent will give us readers. I am sure it will be as well written as your Gabriel’s novels.
The character I am thinking of is “A young-looking, fair-haired man with strange gray eyes …”
May the Muses be with you! Can not wait for your new novel SR!
Could this new character that Sylvain Reynard mention on his new book The Raven is the guy who was at the museum, the one who was looking at Gabriel and Julianne?…Reynard didn’t say much but this character in the book, all of a sudden he was gone, I kept wondering when or what this character has to do with Gabriel and Julianne but nothing came out of it..Could he be the one?
yes !! he is the man that Gabriel and Julia seen that the museum .The man is few words .The one Gabriel told Julia to stay away from ,and if she ever seen him to turn the other way.
That what I though..I wonder if Gabriel knew who he was, specially when he told Julia that if she ever seen him to turn the other way…
This sounds right up our street, as we always like to pack our bags and travel to the city of Florence via fiction!. Looking forward!
The creepy guy that Julia and Gabriel saw in the Uffizi Museum when their illustrations were presented in the exhibit. The one that Gabriel was trying to protect Julia from. Can’t wait for the new book and I absolutely loved Gabriel’s Redemption. I’m sad to see them go but I was very satisfied with the ending. I fell in love with both of them, especially the Professor, so I could probably follow them forever. But I know there needs to be ending, and you provided a great one.
Dear SR
I lookk forward to another journey with you. I love your writing and cannot wait to Raven comes out.I am so happy that we do not lose the professor and julianne. I can’t wait to feel like being in Florence again. Thank you so much.
Wow this is great, wonderful new series I fell for you sir for creating SR Professor Emerson and I think now I will continue to love you! look ances Redemption of Gabriel and now with this news I think I’ll wait with this new story more of a yearning … XOXOXO desde Chile

Dear SR,
I thoroughly enjoyed Gabriel’s Redemption! Thank you for giving us closure on all the characters. I am especially glad of how Ms. Peterson was dealt with. Love karma….I await the next book in your new series. I was hooked after reading the sample at the end of Gabriel’s Redemption. Again thank you for sharing your talented imagination.
Thelma
I can’t wait for this new series. I loved Gabriel’s series and am glad we’ll see him again
Dear SR,
I’m looking forward to read your new novel, I haven’t read the Gabriel’s books yet, but I’m hoping to do so, in a very short time. But I definitively will be reading this new book, ’cause I love paranormal stories/books…
Mischa.
I believe he’s the blonde guy at the museum to which Gabriel asked Julianne to stay away from. At all costs. It also mentioned in Redemption how that guy reacts when the paintings were introduced as a collection from the Emersons. He reacted as if he knew it wasn’t Gabriel’s in the first place.
I think the link character is the man that julia saw in Ufizzy the day Gabriel donated the Botticellis illustratios, The young man with gray eyes, the one Gabriel says is dangerous!
I love it when authors do cameo appearance of characters in their books 😀 Wait, have answered who’s the character from Raven that appeared in Redemption? It’s the girl from the café yeah?
OMG!!!! I can barely wait!!! I just finished Gabriel’s Redemption and I’m utterly crushed and in love with Prof. Emerson!!! The caracters from Gabriel’s in Florence… the director of the Uffizzi of course. Or the guy that tried to set a conversation with Julia and Gabriel was suspicious about him.
OMG…..I can’t wait until 2014…I’m so excited to hear Raven’s story and be able to visualize more of Florence… I honestly think that the character is going to be the link guy with the cute eyes that Julia saw at the Gallery that was being weird…But OMG!!!! I’m so excited that i cant stop smiling right now about it….YAY…
When does the raven come out. I can’t wait to read it
When is the release date set for the Raven, I can’t wait to read it. I am sitting on the edge of my seat………………
Hi Sylvian!
love the gabriel’s inferno triology. Love that we having a new series. But at gabriel’s redemption we want more. I love to have more like what happen to paul, natalie ,simon, april, rachel and aron, tommy, tom and diane. And more about the new family im hunger for more. Love gabriel and julia. Please we want to know more. Their new lifes please ❤️ thank you
The homeless man have to be the character that conects both stories… i think i remember that Gabriel in some point says that he wouldn’t saw him again… sounds really interesting this new story so if this is half of good of the Gabriels Series i would be thrilled to read it ♥♥♥♥ and like many other peoplehave already say it here thanks for writing the three books of Gabriel… they have a perfect end… was amazing… if you ever consider to write a fourth book I am more than Ready to read it!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
The discomforting British man at the reveal of the originals in the museum. Trying to be vague so no spoilers. If I’m wrong then may I respectfully say: that man screams for a story!! Can’t. Wait!!! And love that you’ll be in Bookheads first issue!!!
I can’t explain well the pride and joy I feel being able to follow this author from beginning to current, and I am so excited for The Prince & The Raven. I’m so ready to find these stories in my kindle and eventually on my “SR” bookshelf. Best of everything to SR and his fans.

@foolish_writer
I loved all books of Silvain Reynards. Eu sou brasileira e estou ansiosa esperando o próximo livro após a transformação de Raven. Já li o Principe e a Trilogia de Gabriel. Quando sairá o próximo livro em Português.
