Dear Everyone,
Today is the release date of “Gabriel’s Redemption” in many English language markets, including the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. I’m proud to report that the novel is already ranked a bestseller in the Amazon Kindle store. It’s also doing well in the iBookstore and on KOBO and Barnes & Noble.
Many bookstores (Such as Chapters, Barnes & Noble, as well as Waterstone’s in the UK) already have “Gabriel’s Redemption” on their shelves. UK Readers who ordered e-books can probably expect those to be delivered electronically around midnight December 4 and into the early hours of December 5.
Thank you.
Without you, the readers, there would be no third book in the series. I changed my mind about writing another book about the Professor when you sent so many positive notes and emails, asking for another novel. “Gabriel’s Redemption” was written for you. I hope you enjoy it.
Don’t forget to join me tomorrow night, December 4, at 9PM EST as I twitter chat with Colleen Lindsay of Penguin USA. Use #PenguinRomance to join the conversation.
I will be having another chat on Sunday, December 8 at 5PM EST with the SMI Bookclub.
I know Spanish speaking readers have been waiting to hear news about the Spanish translation of “Gabriel’s Redemption.” I should be able to make an announcement in the next week about when you can expect the book to be released. Thank you for your patience.
Brazilian readers can expect “Gabriel’s Redemption” to be published in January.
I don’t have news for Francophone readers, but I hope Michel Lafon will publish the third book in French.
Casa Editrice Nord should be making an announcement about the translation of the third book into Italian, soon.
Japanese, Portuguese, Polish, and Czech translation are all forthcoming. Details to be announced.
In this holiday season, I want to express my wish that you and your family will have peace, joy, and happiness for the rest of 2013 and in 2014, as well.
Thank you for your encouragement and support, and thank you for reading,
SR.

Dear Kind Sir — there is no one that deserves this success more than you do. This one is just perfect. The hard work that went into it — the humor, the pathos, the growth of both Julia and Gabriel — (did I mention humor??) — and the entire story is just so evident in every sentence. And it’s so clear that you did this one for us. Thank you. You are simply the best. I learned so much about Dante, Renaissance art, literature…. all encompassed in a sweet love story. You made me think as well as feel. What could be better for an author?
I’m going to savor this series as we wait for The Raven….
With gratitude and friendship,
Terry

Thank you for the Gabriel Trilogy SR! With your sensational and beautiful writing you captivate both mind and soul! I am incredible grateful and feel honored for coming in contact with you SR and your novels. The journey I experienced with Gabriel and Juliane in the novels but also in those outtakes or deleted scenes gave me a rich experience of beautifully penned words. Also gave me deeper insight in Dante’s Inferno, religions, aims I studied once. SR your way to lead Gabriel to redemption in this beautiful and sensual love story is a masterpiece.
Giving place to different religions in your story speaks of your humanity, greatness and fantastic kindness. I must reveal I was mesmerized about the jewish/german family heritage. Love your humor which is really accentuated in the Gabriel’s Redemption. Your writing is fabulous.
Thank you for this breathtaking love story with so many levels and depth! You learned me many things during my reading or journey, which I am thankful from the bottom of my heart and mind. No one is flawless, and everybody needs forgiveness and kindness or unconditional love. SR that you wrote this book for your readers is the greatest kindness. Kindness is never wasted, as you use to say. You SR are the best model and teacher!
Thank you for your wishes! Wish you and to your nearest the very best, successes with all your novels published and not published yet! Seeing forward for many more novels from your beautiful and talented mind!
With gratitude and friendship

thx so much Sylvain for this wonderful experience on a book journey for Gabriel and Julianne to find true love. Bring us readers on a a journey through the centuries. Introduce more to the wonderful work of Dante, Botticelli the Renaissance. I am still sorry that there is still no german publishing house that seems interested in your books for a translation. The germans miss the best books. And I am gratefull that I have won a signed copy. Well it will be first send to my canadian relatives and then get his way over the ocean in germany. Thx so much for your work and I cant wait to get the Raven your new series. And Santa Clause that is called Nikolaus in Germany and arrives as the 6 th ( this means today) had been very grate full to me and got me a book with Botticellis artwork and a new book about the Renaisance. All the best and have a wonderful christmas time.

Chapter 9 so far and I’m once again in love with all of them. My Professor is incredible and I love the way he fights his own demons and past. My sweet Julianne is still there in her shyness and somehow lack of confidence, that’s why her Dante, I loved the way she wants to pray to C.S. Lewis for support. Richard is marvelous and all Gabriel’s family. Julia’s dad finally is rewarded. And Christa, jeez, she is indeed evil but so down-to-earth, I simply love her, she brings too much to the story and Professor Picton, wow!!!! I can’t put it down–well, just for working–but every time I read something I have to tell my husband immediately because I’m too emotional, and one of my students is reading it too and we love to talk about it!!!! Ok, too much “love” words but there is nothing else that describes this series. Thanks for making it, I’ll keep up with it…
Pamela says
Just finished the last book in the series. There is a cold snap here in Winnipeg and this book was a perfect escape. The final book wasn’t as exciting but it was nice to delve into the life of Julianne and Gabriel and see how their future and the future of the characters around them played out. As with all the books in the series the ending doesn’t leave you hanging on the contrary you feel like you’ve just been a part of a great love story. Also this story has made me more appreciative of my husband…remembering when we first fell in love and reminding me of the love that is still there in spite of work, kids, sports, etc. Thank You Sylvian. Happy Holidays!

Hello Tubaicen. Thanks for your note. Optimum Kitap is my Turkish publisher. I don’t know what their plans are for the third book yet. It might be helpful for you to contact them and let them know you’re interested in the third book. I think it’s good for the publishers to hear from readers. All the best and thanks for reading, SR.
