Dear Everyone,
Passionflix has announced that the release of “Gabriel’s Redemption” part 3 will be December 14th. They also posted a teaser trailer, which you can view here.
I’ve seen part 3 and you will love it. Passionflix has also included a couple of surprises with the release …
This is excellent timing, because the tenth anniversary of the publication of “Gabriel’s Redemption” is December 13th. I’ll be hosting a giveaway on social media, so stay tuned.
Also, please join me on my author Facebook page for a watch-along of “Gabriel’s Redemption” Part 2 on December 10th at 7PM Eastern.
And I’ll be beginning the Advent read-along with the first reading of “Advent and Christmas: Wisdom from Henri Nouwen” on December 3rd. Join me.
Thank you for reading and thank you for watching,
SR

The series has been an absolutely breath taking event for me! I’ve enjoyed living vicariously through Julia Mitchell/ Emerson as she morphed in a a strong, sexy confidant young wife under the love of her handsome Gabriel. I look forward to part 3 of the redemption, but feel bitter sweet as this is the last part. Kudos for a job well done!!!

Thank you so much, Pamela.
I’m glad you are enjoying them.
All the best, SR

Dear SR,
can´t wait for the Redemption Part III for sure. I´ve seen new merch for GI on Passionflix, the blanket. And it made me wonder about the quotation “Apparuit iam beatitudo vestra”. It´s latin, right? But I thought Dante´s La Vita Nuova (where the quotation appears if I´m not mistaken) was written in Italian. I asked at the FB fan page, but so far nobody knew and one of the other fans prompted me to ask you. So I thought I´ll give it a try. 🙂 Can you enlighten me, please?
Thank you in advance.
Lenka
PS: I´ve tried Wikipedia with no succes although I´m quite sure certain Professor would disaprove profoundly. Or perhaps he would be smug about my failing with that source. 😉
Kenzie says
Hi Lenka,
The line itself is in Latin but Dante wrote “La Vita Nuova” and “La Divina Commedia” in the Tuscan vernacular, so that common people could read it and to reach a readership throughout Italy. In the late Middle Ages, the vast majority of poetry and literacy works were written in Latin and were limited to scholars, clerics, and highly educated people. Dante’s choice was highly unorthodox at the time. Italian is also the closest to Latin in terms of the romance languages. Dante’s works completely transformed the Italian language and it’s why Dante is referred to as the ‘Father of the Italian Language’.
Lenka says
Kenzie,
thank you. You answered my question on FB as well, right? Thanks for that. I delved a bit deeper on the internet and found my answer at last – it seems that the body of La Vita Nuova is written in Italian, but direct speech is in Latin. So, the quotation in Latin is a direct speech in La Vita Nuova. Mystery solved. 🙂 The search for information reminded me of my years at the University. 😀 And reminded me as well that there are no shortcuts in obtaining knowledge.
Thank you for the answer anyway. You´re kind.
Have a great day.
Lenka

Hello, I have read all the books of the Gabriel’s series, and watched all the movies so far. Will there be a movie based on Gabriel’s Promise? I hope so..
Also, are there any new books in the near future? I loved The Florentine Series and The Man in the Black Suit Can’t get enough! ♥️

I’m finishing a new, stand-alone book and should be able to post more about it soon.
I really appreciate your support.

Please have a Gabriel’s Promise movie. I have watched all the other movies repeatedly and can’t seem to get enough of Julia and Gabriel’s love story. Great work!

Thank you so much Mahnly.
I would like this, too.
