I’m proud to reveal the cover of my next novel, The Raven, which is the first in The Florentine Series, a new trilogy published by Berkley/Penguin. The novel is a paranormal love story set in Florence, Italy.

As you can see, the design team at Penguin did a great job encapsulating the novel in the cover. I like it a lot and I hope that you do too.
The Professor, as well as a few other characters from The Gabriel Series will have cameo roles in The Raven. And as you can see, the Botticelli illustrations mentioned above are a link between the two series.

If you read Gabriel’s Redemption, you’ve already met one of the characters from The Raven.

SR signs Contract for Third Book in Gabriel Series: Plus Contest!

Dear Everyone,

I have good news.

I have on my desk a contract with Berkley Books for three novels. The first book under this contract will be the third and final volume in the Gabriel series. The release date is to be announced, as are the subjects of the other two books under contract.

When I wrote “Gabriel’s Rapture,” I intended this book to be the last volume about the Professor. But no sooner was the book released, than I began to receive letters from readers asking me for a third book.

Although I was grateful for the letters, I was determined that Rapture would be the final book. But as time went on and I received message after message asking for more about the Professor and Julianne, I began to contemplate what a third novel would entail.

Then, one morning I began to write …

So I’m pleased to tell you, the readers, that the third book is in progress and it’s being written for you in response to your messages. Thank you for your continued support of me and my writing. I look forward to sharing the novel with you.

New York Times Bestseller List

Dear Everyone,

Allow me to begin this new post by thanking you. Thank you for reading and for supporting my writing. Thank you for telling your friends and family about these stories. And thank you for your support of the organizations and charities that are important to me. Your generosity and good will is much appreciated.

I’m pleased to report that my first novel, “Gabriel’s Inferno,” is #35 on the New York Times Bestsellers List, (Ebook/Fiction).

I am also pleased to report that both books, “Gabriel’s Inferno” and “Gabriel’s Rapture,” will be published by Berkley Publishing, a division of Penguin. E-book versions of both novels will go on sale this week under the Berkley imprint, with trade paperbacks to follow in the coming months. I anticipate that audiobooks and translations of these volumes will be forthcoming.

Under Berkley, both titles will receive wider distribution, especially in bookstores around the world. This will provide easier access to current and future readers. I enjoy interacting with readers from around the world and am eager for you to be able to read these books in your own language.
