Dear Everyone,
Many of you remember Terry, who was a member of our reading community for several years. She was lively and funny, compassionate and caring. She wrote several thought-provoking entries on the Argyle Empire blog and she gave generously to Covenant House Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Sadly, she passed away a couple of years ago. She is greatly missed.
A group of friends and fellow readers, The Muses of Argyle Empire, decided to put together an anthology to celebrate Terry’s life and legacy, donating the proceeds to Covenant House Pennsylvania in her memory. I’m proud to have been invited to write the Foreword to this work. I’m proud of the Muses for this endeavour.
The anthology is entitled “Musings: An Argyle Empire Anthology” and it will introduce you to new writers with unique, engaging voices. Their short stories span genres from romantic comedy to fantasy. You’re going to want to read this anthology. This one’s for Terry.
To quote Proverbs 31: 10 from the Hebrew Bible,
י אֵשֶׁת-חַיִל, מִי יִמְצָא; וְרָחֹק מִפְּנִינִים מִכְרָהּ. | 10 A woman of valour who can find? for her price is far above rubies. |
The anthology releases June 20th. You can order the ebook on Amazon, as well as the paperback. June 20th is also Argyle Empire’s Fifth Anniversary and they will be celebrating on Facebook. Join the festivities.
