I have good news.
I have on my desk a contract with Berkley Books for three novels. The first book under this contract will be the third and final volume in the Gabriel series. The release date is to be announced, as are the subjects of the other two books under contract.
When I wrote “Gabriel’s Rapture,” I intended this book to be the last volume about the Professor. But no sooner was the book released, than I began to receive letters from readers asking me for a third book.
Although I was grateful for the letters, I was determined that Rapture would be the final book. But as time went on and I received message after message asking for more about the Professor and Julianne, I began to contemplate what a third novel would entail.
Then, one morning I began to write …
So I’m pleased to tell you, the readers, that the third book is in progress and it’s being written for you in response to your messages. Thank you for your continued support of me and my writing. I look forward to sharing the novel with you.

There are few things in this world that i want more than to see Gabriel and Julianne’s story continue just for a little while longer.
I was so captivated by this story in less than 5 pages that i can’t wait to finally feel that Gabriel and his Beatrice get everything in life that they want.
Now while I’m stoked beyond words for more Gabriel, I’m even more intrigued by more SR books that I’m dying for a plot hint at the very least.

Will there be children? Will Paulina dig her claws in? Will Paul be there to pick up the pieces? Will Simon the “a-hole” come after Gabriel? Will Julianna’s career surpass Gabriel’s? OMG, I can’t wait!!

Gabriel’s Inferno and Rapture were so incredible to me. They were filled with all that I love in a novel. Love, class, and a sense of right and wrong. Even though it took Gabriel and Julianne a while to get together, once they did, it was incredible. It was even tantalizingly pleasing to see the build up of the ultimate culmination of their love. I love the way they compare themselves to lost lovers from centuries before as well. It brought a certain romanticism to their relationship and something the reader had to look forward to. From the time I started reading these books, I could not put them down. I am very excited and pleased to know that their story will continue. Thank you SR for giving me books that I can treasure.

Although I have thought about what happened after the wonderfully happy ending of Gabriel’s Rapture, I am tremendously nervous about a third installment because I do not think I can physically or emotionally handle reading about any more heartache, angst, or forces trying to come between and separate these characters.

I’m really, really happy to hear that. But, frankly speaking, I can’t imagine to myself how it will fit the theme of Dante’s “Divine Comedy” used here because the second book just feels final. But I hope you know how. 🙂

Oh wow this is the best news I’ve read all day … and although I am a recently discovered fan I find myself beyond tickled pink all over that there will be a third Gabriel Book! Looking forward to the next read and perhaps we will be a certain blue eyed baby in the near future for the Professor and Julia. Plus I would like to see a happy ending for Paul … he needs love too
There is nothing about this story that hasn’t drawn me in. The thought of true love, being able to connect with the scenery (Manulife building on Bloor and Loreena McKennitt – work for Manulife and live in Stratford where it is not unusual to be in the same restaurant as Loreena)….everything is so well put together you can’t help but want more as it relates to your life and gives you hope. I have recommended these books to everyone I know, they are by far the best books I have read in some time (and yes I have read the 50 Shades trilogy but these are far superior!). Can’t wait for #3!!!!

I just finished reading GI and GR in the past 3 days and absolutely loved every single words of it! Now I am even more excited to know that there will be a third part to Julia and Gabriel’s story. Though I just have one request for the third book, please please please no matter what happens do not make either one be unfaithful to each other. I can take as much angst as any author can give but one thing I cannot tolerate is infidelity, especially after what we know Julia and Gabriel went through to be together. Throw them a few wrenches like professional rivalry, problems having children, Paulina coming back etc. but please do not let them turn to other people. Other than that I cannot wait for the 3rd book to come out. Sylvain, you are very talented writer, Ms. EL James needs to take some writing and grammar lessons from you, keep up the good work!

I actually had the books and read them before them had been published in the UK. They were so enthralling I couldn’t but them down so when I finished I lent them to a friend and by the time they appeared in our shops in October most of us had already read the book’s and recommending to people to buy them can’t wait for book 3!!!!
loved the Gabriel book’s so much. I bought them even before they were published in the UK. Couldn’t put them down and spent a whole weekend from Friday night till I went to work Monday morning reading them they were so addictive I couldn’t put them down then I ended up lending them to a friends. so when it was released in the UK they bought a copy for themselves and now we all can’t wait for book 3!!!!!
When exactly is the third book coming out? Do you have plans in the future to come to NY for a book tour? I enjoyed the first two books so much, it hurts. I especially love the second book. I cried so much when they finally made love, the wedding, the self discovery of the professor. WoW!!!!! Just beautiful. I hope and wish for more romance and a baby in the third book.
